In just 5 months, the world has seen some high-profile ransomware attacks shaking the biggest of the companies including Colonial Pipeline in the U.S, Acer, Florida Water System, CNA Financial and Harris Federation. Each of these suffered significant financial loss to halted operations and ransom payment of millions of dollars.
