For anyone related to Cyber Security, the month of October has great significance as it is globally observed as Cyber Security Awareness Month. Organizations from different sectors conduct various activities to highlight the role of end-user awareness so they can play an active role in protecting the digital assets of an organization. With the hackers now targeting the end-users, the need for awareness & empowerment for end-users has become critical.
Ahead of this Cyber Security Awareness Month, PhishRod & Protiviti have joined hands to drive the Cyber Security Awareness Summit to be held on 15th September 2021. The virtual event will focus on topics such as Phishing Readiness, End-User Behavior Analysis, Automation of Cyber Security Awareness Programs, Developing Phishing Incident Response & developing an Enterprise Cyber Security Awareness Framework.
The summit will kick off with the opening keynote on “Balancing People, Process & Technology Triad for Cyber Security” by Mr. Neraj Mathur, MD Privacy & Cyber Security, Protiviti. It will be followed by another keynote on “Leveraging Human Threat Intelligence” by Syed Abid Ali, Co-Founder & CCO at PhishRod.
The agenda also includes a panel discussion on “Role of End Users in Protecting Digital Boundaries of an Organization”. The panelists from Dubai Electric Water Authority (UAE), Al Maghrabi Hospitals (KSA), Shell Aramco (KSA), Ministry of Finance (Qatar), CyberKnight (UAE) will share their experience about end-user awareness & empowerment at their respective organizations.
The summit will conclude with a 1-hour technical workshop on “Developing Enterprise Security Awareness Framework”.
